Process Leader - Affinity Castelgomberto

Your role
We are looking for a Process Leader for the Operations team, who will report to Continuous Improvement Manager at the Castelgomberto plant. In this role, you will drive Manufacturing Excellence by guiding the Cell Leader in loss analysis, standardization, and capability building, ensuring compliance with operational standards and continuous improvement on the shopfloor.
What you will do
- Target Deployment: Build loss map with Cell Leader, define initiatives for AM implementation, changeover optimization, and loss elimination.
- Performance Management: Support daily meetings, coach teams on standards and loss analysis, and ensure effective gap closure.
- Safety & Quality: Integrate safety into process improvements and ensure quality compliance during AM and changeovers.
- People Development: Train team on problem-solving, AM practices, and defect handling.
- Delivery: Monitor process standards (cleaning, inspection, lubrication, changeovers) to maintain flow and prevent downtime.
- Cost Control: Drive OEE improvement, material efficiency, and waste reduction through systematic problem-solving.
- Innovation: Implement best practices, support new technology deployment, and ensure operational readiness.
Who we are looking for
Required Profile
- High School Diploma / Technical Degree; University Degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Certifications or formal training in Lean Manufacturing, WCM or similar methodologies are preferable
- Significant experience in a process-oriented role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven success in coaching and leading process improvement initiatives at the cell or departmental level.
- Potential and readiness to advance into higher technical or management roles.
- Demonstrated experience implementing and leading process improvement initiatives.
Technical Competences
- Experience in conducting loss gap analysis, standardizing operational processes and deploying Autonomous Maintenance approach.
- Deep expertise in structured problem-solving techniques and root cause analysis.
- Familiar with tools such as 5 Whys, FMEA, and statistical analysis to systematically eliminate deviations.
- Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks to drive continuous improvement.
Leadership Competences
- Strong analytical approach.
- Capability to deploy structured problem-solving methods to address and prevent process issues.
- Proven ability to coach and develop teams,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
